MUGAs
Our Multi Use Games Areas (MUGA) offer open air sports facilities as a venue for football, tennis, basketball, cricket, hockey and more with accessibility for all ages and abilities.
They are designed to withstand the most extreme weather conditions and accommodate the most competitive and continuous usage without deterioration.
Our ball courts accommodate a wide range of ball sports and are available in standard court configurations ranging from 12 x 20m to 20.5 x 36m to incorporate popular 16 x 28m court dimensions.
Once you have selected your court design, you simply need to decide on the type of fencing to compliment it.

Base Leisure have undertaken extensive research into each ball game (football, basketball, netball, tennis, cricket and hockey), and have discussed requirements within the teenage community to produce the most accommodating and demanding recreational environments, designed to support and encourage excercise.
All our designs contain unique features and utilise robust and durable materials to accommodate for a wide variety of ball sports.
The available choice of energetic colours and designs gives our customers the choice and freedom to select the most appropriate options to best fit in with their surrounding areas.
Sin bins, tubular frame seats and integral safety features are just some of the reasons why Base Leisure continue to be the UK’s leading supplier of outdoor multisports equipment to local authorities and schools.

Leisuretex plus was used for the surface which is a porous and safe surface for play. The ‘MUGA’ was divided into two games areas, the entire length is 30m x width 15m. The height of the fencing was 4m on one side and 3m on the other.
As you can imagine, space is at a premium in central London. So when the City of Westminster wanted to provide new facilities for the citizens in their community, every option had to be considered, including this uninviting area of concrete under the A40.
